You’ll want to crank it up to get a nice sear anyway.

• For a medium steak, four to six minutes per side should do the trick.
• To cook your steak medium-well, six to eight minutes per side should give you the results you’re looking for. 

Use these times as a basic guideline and adjust it to suit.
